STARTING YOUR PROJECT
To begin your construction or remodel, a drawing may be required to submit to authorities for permitting purposes. We do have a network of draftsman and architects available to us for your connivence.
When we arrive to discuss your project, it is most helpful if you have a desired budget range prepared, a rough drawing, and a few reference photos of your desired vision. Each design or material option under consideration may create a series of variables that can restrict the feasibility of your project. For this reason, it is best to have narrowed your options down as much as possible before you start the building process. When we agree to work together, we will send you an order form with the details of your build for approval. If changes are to be made to your project at a later date, a change order will be put in place.

Custom cabinets have a very wide range of possibilities and price points. We specialize in building our cabinets from the raw wood of your choosing. The style of cabinetry we prefer is face-frame construction. This consist of a real wood face on the cabinet box. This particular style withstands wear and tear better than edge-banding which is a thin strip laminated to the edge of a sheet-good. Softwood is defined as a tree that has needles while hardwood is a tree consisting of leaves. Typically, a hardwood is the most durable and also most expensive. We can build your cabinets to be delivered to your job site and/or you can hire us to do the install of your cabinets. The plumbing and electrical in your kitchen or bathroom may dictate how to proceed with your cabinets. However, licensed professionals can move certain systems to work around your desired design. We have several professionals we can refer.

Here are some questions to ask yourself for CABINETS. These are prioritized as most expensive options listed first. Do you want your cabinets to be made out of custom stained veneer sheet-good or plywood with a finish applied after the stain? Do you want the face-frame to be sanded flush with the inside of the box? Do you want a glossy pre-finished plywood? Do you want melamine with a hardwood face-frame? Do you want a fancy inset bead on your face-frame? Do you want melamine boxes with edge-banding?
Do you want stain-grade wood? Which wood species will suit your budget? Do you want paint-grade wood? Do you want it to be painted in place? Do you want your cabinet doors to have European hinges as a flush-inset? Do you want your cabinet doors to have European hinges with an overlay onto the face-frame of the cabinet? Do you want solid wood construction cabinet doors known as raised panel doors? Do you want slab doors? Do you want glass panes? Do you want shaker style doors with a 1/4" sheet-good as the panel? Do you want side panels? Do you want blind corner cabinets? Do you want lazy-Susan corner cabinets? Drawers cost more than doors. Do you want more or less drawers? Do you want hardwood, plywood, or melamine drawer boxes? Do you want dovetailed drawers? Do you want under-mount or side mount drawer guides? Do you want your hardware pulls to be included in the bid?

We can build within your budget. However, the above decisions ultimately dictate the final project bid/cost. If you bring us a Pinterest photo of someone's $40k-50k build, and you can not afford that price, then you will need to reevaluate where you will be cutting costs or making design revisions. We bid your project based on what you show us or tell us that you want. Our goal is that your project is done right and built to last.
